Privacy policy
How we handle your data — under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Luxembourg Data Protection Act of 1 August 2018.
1. Controller

2. When you visit the website
When you open our pages, our hosting provider automatically records in server log files the information your browser transmits: IP address, date and time, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system.
This data serves solely the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is not combined with any other data source.
3. Submitting building plans
When you submit plans through the upload form, we process: name, company (optional), email address, phone number (optional), preferred language, type of work, your notes, the uploaded PDF files, together with your IP address and the time of submission.
We need this information to analyse your plans and deliver the result to you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract).
The data is stored in our database and additionally sent by email to our inbox. Uploaded files are held in a directory blocked from access over the internet. They are not passed on to third parties.
4. Contact form
Through the contact form we process your name, email address, your message, plus IP address and time — solely in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
5. Cost calculator
The cost calculator works without registration. Only when you generate a quotation as a PDF or have it sent by email do we process the details you enter: name, email address, address (optional) and your message. These are stored together with the calculated items so that the quotation remains traceable.
6. Cookies and local storage
This website sets a single cookie: PHP's session cookie (PHPSESSID). It stores your language choice, contains no personal content and is deleted when you close your browser. It is technically necessary for the site to work and therefore requires no consent.
Your choice in the cookie notice is saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. That entry never leaves your device.
We use no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Google Fonts
For typography we use the typefaces Syne and DM Sans. These are loaded from servers operated by Google Ireland Limited, which transmits your IP address to Google and may forward it to the United States.
For that reason we load the fonts only once you have expressly agreed in the cookie notice. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings in the footer. Without consent the site is displayed using your system fonts — complete in content, simply plainer in appearance.
8. Form protection (reCAPTCHA)
Our forms are protected by reCAPTCHA Enterprise from Google Ireland Limited. The service assesses from usage behaviour whether an entry comes from a human or from an automated program. In doing so it transmits to Google, among other things, your IP address, time spent on the page, mouse and keyboard movement, and device and browser information, where it is evaluated. Forwarding to the United States is possible.
We use reCAPTCHA only on the two pages that carry forms — plan upload and contact — not on the rest of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in protecting our forms and our inbox from automated abuse.

9. Hosting
This website is operated by a service provider within the European Union which processes the data on our behalf and on our instructions, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
10. Retention period
We keep your data only as long as it is needed for the respective purpose or as statutory retention periods require. Submitted building plans and the associated reports are deleted once the matter is concluded and no commercial or tax retention obligation remains. On request we will delete your plans sooner at any time.
11. Your rights
You have the right at any time to obtain information about the data stored about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Any consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

12. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Luxembourg this is the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), cnpd.public.lu.
